The other big advantage of an online business degree is that students can work at their own pace. That means that if you want to move faster than a traditional class moves at you can. On the other hand, if your work commitments make it impossible to work at full pace you can slow down and take a longer period to complete the degree. This helps to increase the flexibility of the degree, which makes it more realistic for working people to get the education that they need.
The biggest disadvantage of an online business degree is the need to keep yourself motivated to do the work. This is especially problematic if you are taking a self paced course that allows you to work at your own pace. Almost all grad schools and some employers will require a letter of recommendation from your professors so this can be a problem.
